What you can expect to see from this blog is In depth reviews of anything from WWE to AAA i watch most wrestling promotions, so i have a fair amount of knowledge on the subject of pro wrestling!
My Background In Wrestling
First of all i will give you some of my back story. According to family i saw my first wrestling show when i was 2 years old, Survivor Series 1996, although i don't remember watching wrestling until around early 1999 in the middle of the attitude era! i had some brief exposure to wcw in 2000 but i watched most of it in retrospect, the same for ECW. Throughout 2004-2005 i had some exposure to TNA through The Wrestling channel. In 2006 i became wise to the business and started watching TNA on a weekly basis. During a rainy summer day in 2006, i saw my first ROH Show Final Battle 2004, needless to say i was very impressed. By 2007 i was finding and watching as much wrestling as i could, from PWG to Chikara to Japan. And since then i have been an avid fan of all forms of wrestling :)
Summerslam Predictions
As Summerslam is this sunday i figured i may as well give some quick predictions!
Six pack challenge for the Intercontinental Title involving Dolph Ziggler vs Kofi Kingston vs Christian vs Drew McIntyre vs Cody Rhodes vs Matt Hardy.
I expect Ziggler to retain, This should be a fun exciting opener, it should be a slight spot fest but it will be good opener to get the crowd hot
LayCool vs. Tiffany and Kelly Kelly
Who really cares
Alicia Fox vs Melina for the Divas Championship
Again Who Really Cares
The Big Show vs SES
I imagine Big show will go over as the fans will want to see punk lose on this big event, altough it wont be a great match as Show is not the best worker and Punk wont do Much Due To the injury
Team WWE vs Nexus
Nexus have to win for this fued to go anywhere, the match should be fairly good as the majority of the work will be done by Jericho and Gabriel
Kane vs Rey Mysterio for the World title
Kane will win, the match will be boring not looking forward to this one
Sheamus vs Orton for the WWE Championship
Sheamus will get put over by Orton, so they can save Ortons big win for Mania, As Far as the Match goes it wont be a classic but it should be ok
Overall This show looks ok but nothing wow this could just be another WWE ppv
